January 2014
BOSTON, MA

Bowdoin Construction recently completed renovations for a new upscale office space for Boston University’s Human Resources Department. Designed by KSID, LLC the project entailed a 12,000 s.f. fitout on the second floor of an occupied, three-story building. The space features an inviting reception area outfitted with custom millwork and flatscreen technology, twenty-four private offices, open workstations, a large training room with retractable computer stations, and two conference rooms with media walls featuring 65” and 80” touch screen displays, and glass marker boards. Materials utilized include B & N Industries’ iconic wall panels, J&J modular carpet, Corian solid surface counter tops, and walnut millwork. LED lighting was utilized, awarding the client an energy rebate as well as future energy savings. All work was completed on schedule within ten weeks.
